Edward Timothy East

Edward Timothy East ,50, of Vinton, Louisiana went to meet his Savior on August 11, 2021, at his residence. Tim was born on February 19, 1971, in Sulphur, Louisiana to Andres Joseph and Wanda June Klipstein East.

Tim was a stall hand and horse groomer and loved horses. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, watching football and arguing with his wife and children.  He was a member of Christian Life Church of Vinton.

Tim is survived by his beloved wife, Angelia “Angie” LaVergne East; his beloved children, Sarah Elizabeth LaVergne Carlin and her husband Michael, and Wesley Joseph East; his mother, Wanda June Roach; sisters Sandra Wynne and husband Clint, Emma Cast and husband Billy, Beth LeBlanc and wife Audra, and Amber LeBlanc; his grandfather EW Klipstein; also, his aunts, uncles, numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Tim was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, his sister, his paternal grandparents, and maternal grandmother.

His funeral service will be at 7:00 PM on Monday, August 16, 2021, at Christian Life Church, 1805 West Street, Vinton, Louisiana.  Pastor Don Snider will officiate.  Visitation will be at the church from 2:00 PM until the start of the service.  Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
