Fernando T. Soriano

At 2:36 pm on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, peacefully had his last deep breath. 

He started working at a very young age to help support his Mama as a single mother. He was a hardworking trustworthy person to be entrusted a huge responsibility at the Mabuhay Brokerage, Philippines. He started at Manese Dental Laboratory, Philippines as a transporter, with his gift of curiosity and being observant, he later taught himself to be a Dental Technician from creating dentures to handling complicated ortho cases. After his move to America with some of his family, he worked and later retired as a Maintenance Operator at the mess hall in the Marine Base in Twentynine Palms, California. Through his dedication he was given an award of appreciation and handed by the President of the United States George Bush himself.  

In his personal life, he was known for his love of fixing things, whether it was a broken appliance or a complex project around the house. He had an infectious enthusiasm for life, which he shared through his hobbies of biking, dancing, singing, and gallivanting around town, always seeking to bring joy and laughter to those around him. A man of great spirit and devotion, with his warmth, generosity and sense of humor that will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, December 16, 2024, in Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Visitation will begin at 12:00pm and continue until the start of the service. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
