Gwyne Louise Cox

Gwyne Louise Cox was born April 24, 1947 in Baton Rouge, LA. She was one of five children born to the late Farrel Wayne and Mary Kathryn Cox.

She was a graduate of Glen Oak High School. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, fishing, and spending time with her animals. Spending the holidays with her family and children way always important to her, Christmas being her favorite. In her later years she spent her time between Lake Charles and enjoying the peace and serenity of the families fishing camp in Butte LaRose.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Wayne Cox; one sister, Judy Drumetski.

Those left to cherish her memory; three children, Sheri A. LeBlanc, Dwayne Abbott, and Melissa Pizanie; grandchildren, Shelby LeBlanc, Hailey LeBlanc, Christopher Abbott, Joshua Abbott, and Jonathan Lambert; one great granddaughter, Sara Abbott; two sisters, Lynn Cox, and Patricia Felder; and extended family.

Family to host a private memorial at a later date.
