Hilbert Monroe Jones

Hilbert Monroe Jones, “Hibby” to family, “Bert” to others, 85, born in Randles, MO, passed away contentedly in Lake Charles, LA, April 14, 2023.

Bert devoted many years to Progressive Service Die Company, relocating several times to grow his business. 

Mr. Jones is survived by his sister, Margaret Pauling of Fremont, OH, son Ricky (Carrie) Jones of Fairview Heights, IL, and daughter Kathy Jones (Gary) Wells of Wilmington, N.C.

He is preceded in death by wife and dear mother of his children, Dorinda (Dees) Jones, sons David and Dennis “Scotty" Jones, and second wife Carrie (Pickett) Maready Jones. Hilbert Jones was a son, a brother, an uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend; he will be remembered and missed by many. Sincere thanks to family friend, “Tookie” for taking such good care of “Mr.Bert” these last years.

Interment will be private.
