Joshua Daniel Grundy

Joshua Daniel Grundy, 43, of Lake Charles, Louisiana passed away on December 4, 2023. Born on April 4, 1980, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Joshua was a beloved son, brother, and friend. He was a fun-loving person with a strong personality. Joshua was known for his outgoing nature and his love for fishing. Whether it was early morning or late at night, he would always find joy in casting a line and reeling in the catch of the day. Joshua was a dedicated employee who recently worked at Buffalo Wild Wings, as well as various other restaurants in Lake Charles area. He took great pride in his work and was well-liked by his colleagues and customers alike. Outside of work, Joshua had a passion for music and was a die-hard fan of the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers football teams. He would often spend his free time cheering on his favorite teams and enjoying the camaraderie of fellow fans.

Joshua is survived by his father, Gregory Kim Grundy; mother, Edith Ann Williams Gundy; two brothers, Micheal Issac Grundy and Casey Lynn Grundy; nephew, Kolin George Gundy.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Tommy Lynn Williams; maternal grandmother, Jimmie Ann Williams; paternal grandmother, Mary Helen Grundy. Joshua’s educational journey began at Moss Bluff Elementary and continued at Moss Bluff High School. He later attended McNeese University for one year, furthering his knowledge and skills.

Private services have already been held for the family to honor and remember Joshua.
