Michael Dorré, Sr.

Michael Dorré Sr. passed away on February 16, 2023, in St. Francisville, LA.

Mr. Dorré was born in Detroit, MI on May 21, 1959, and lived 23 years in Grandlake, LA.  He was a retired paint and body technician, a devout Catholic who enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and taking on minor projects in his spare time.  In his younger years he was ever the life of the party, and never knew a stranger; always laughing and joking and willing to help those in need.

He is preceded in death b his wife, Crystal Dorré; his parents, Donnie Dorré and Lillian Cluesman; two brothers, Ronnie Dorré and Timothy Dorré; grandparents, Pierre Dorré and wife Angelic; two grandchildren, Aleksandra Wright and Chloe Wright.

He is survived by two sons, Michael Dorré Jr. and wife April of Lafayette, LA, and Mitchell Dorré and wife Sue of Grandlake, LA; three daughters, Priscilla Dorré and husband Sean of Ball, LA, Angelic Dorré and fiancé Zackary of Westlake, LA, and Tracey Blanco and Alexander of Carencro, LA; and numerous grandchildren.

Angelic would like to extend a special thank you to Bridgeway Hospice and the nurses, Mrs. Victoria Kadair, and Mrs. Ashley Gonzales for their amazing care.
