Samuel “Sam” Hines Larsh, 72, passed away on October 22, 2023 at Cornerstone facility from a very long illness. He was a longtime resident of Sulphur, Louisiana and after over twenty-one years of service he retired as a staff sergeant in the Army. He worked for Southland Fields Aviation for many years as a manager. Also, was a truck driver for many years, delivered the local newspaper and drove for papa johns… he enjoyed working on computers and playing computer games as well.
He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Larsh, Sr., his mother Mary Bell Larsh, step-son Rusty Boggs, and great-grand daughter Jacqueline Dinah Couch.
He is survived by his wife Jacqueline “Jacki” Larsh of 29 years. His sons Samuel Larsh II (Amy), Tyler Larsh, step-son Joshua Couch (Hannah) and step-daughter Rushell Migues (Brent). His grandchildren Halie Hill (Thomas), Katelynn Migues, Madison Migues, Jessie Foreman, Joshua Couch II, Whitney Couch, Krysta Larsh, Samuel Larsh IV, Madelyn Larsh, and William Larsh. Great-Grandchildren Aubrey Hill, Allison Hill, and McKenzie Mathews.
Per one of his sons Tyler Larsh…. “ With his passing, I am missing a huge and important figure in my life. A huge hole in my heart that will never be filled. While this is supposed to be a time of grieving, I defiantly refuse it as such. Thank you for adopting me and giving me the best life you could. I love you Old Man. R.I.P.
