Sandra Ann Walker

Sandra Ann Walker passed away at the age of 60, peacefully in her home on Friday, September 9, 2022.  She was born on January 25, 1962 in Lake Charles to the late Colleen and Richard Magnuson. 

She loved her Lord Jesus Christ and going to church.  In her younger years, she learned to play the banjo very well and would play bluegrass music with her dad.  She also enjoyed painting, crafting, tending to her plants and her cat Barbara.

She is survived by two children, Ginger Nicole Champeau (Chris), and Jason Mitchell (Ashlee); three grandchildren, Payton Ramirez, Tori Mitchell, and Maddie Mitchell; one sister, Melanie Herrington (Danny); and one brother, Richie Magnuson (Shirley).

A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Pine Hill Cemetery in Iowa, LA with Rev. Michael Linton officiating under the direction of Simple Traditions by Johnson Funeral Home.
