Timmy Benoit was the youngest twin and one of four children born to Frank S. and Elizabeth Benoit. He was born in Lake Charles, LA on April 28, 1960.
From a young age, he loved playing softball and baseball. He and his brothers were known as the “Benoit Boys” and they were a force to be reckoned with, winning district championships three years running. His passion of sports continued into adulthood; he coached little league and played in alumni tournaments. Secondary to his love of sports, he enjoyed the peace and tranquility of fishing.
He was best known for his selflessness, sociable nature, humor, and willingness to help others. Although he did not have children of his own, he doted on his great nieces and nephews when he visited.
He was welcomed into Heaven on January 14, 2024 by his father, Frank S. Benoit; paternal grandparents, Marcial and Doleta Benoit; and maternal grandparents, Theo and Lucille Young.
Those left to cherish his memory, mother, Elizabeth Benoit; siblings, Cheryl (Joe) Carlile, Tommy (Terri) Benoit, and Mark (Denise) Benoit; nieces and nephews, Brai, Joshua Carlile, Jennifer Carlile, Kenzie Benoit, Faith Dockins, Amy Benoit, Amberlee (Zeus) Vazquez, and Zachary Vineyard; great nieces and nephews, Cadence, Finnliegh, Dylan, Jacelynn, Saige, Sawyer, Brailee, Kelan, Adrian, Bryce, and Preslie.
